Sometimes
you just don't know what to make of a piece of art. Even the stuff you
make yourself. I find that if I make up a little story about a piece, it
suddenly has much more meaning for me. Though I believe it is great to
know an artist's intention, it is also wonderful to put your own meaning
onto things. Below are tiny stories I wrote as companion pieces to some
of my paintings. Maybe they will resonate with you, or at the very
least entertain you. Do you see the painting in a new light, now? If
not, perhaps they will provoke you to write your own narrative. Tell me
